Billy Squier : 16 Strokes

Many point to Billy Squier as early-'80s rock personified, an era when he and many of his peers tempered hard rock with pop melodicism, and by adding just the right amount of posing and posturing for the newly constructed MTV set, he scored a string of arena rock anthems and power ballads. Many single of Billy Squier playing around in MTV and Billboard chart. Billy Squier first platinum album is "Don't Say No" it was produced by Queen guitarist Brian May,. The next platinum album is "Emotion in Motion" released in 82 became as successful as Don't Say No. The next Album "Sign of Life" (1984) is the third Billy Squier Platinum album, bThe album also climbed into Billboard's Top 5 and sold just under 3 million copies. Two years passed between Emotions in Motion and Squier's next album Signs of Life. It was his third consecutive Platinum album.

This is the third Slash's band after the most successful rock n' roll band Gun's N Roses. The first project is "Slash's Snake Pit" was release two album "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" and "Ain't Life Grand". The second Slash's project is "Velvet Revolver" also release two album "Contraband" and "Libertad". If I can compare the formation of Slash's Snakepit, I rather choose formation from first album. Rod Jackson doing well in the second album but the band didn't have any clue with his kind of vocal. Replace Matt Sorum with Matt Laug and now you got a very loud and very intimidate rock n' roll band since Motley Crue haha....
I really enjoyed "Fishy Dance" that Scott Weiland did in "Come on Come in" OST Fantastic Four, I think that was the coolest movement in a rock n' roll music video, sad story he decide to reunite whit his former band Stone Temple Pilot.
Here come the third band, Slash's trying to play blues. But I think it wasn't blues.....

Hubert Sumlin : I Know You

Hubert Sumlin was the first Chicago bluesman that I ever had the chance to sit down with and talk to about the blues. He was a gracious and cordial as anyone I have ever met and he made me feel like we had been friends for years, eventhough we had just met. His stories about Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters fascinated me, as did just about everything else he chose to discuss that day. I have seen him several times since that first meeting and have continued to enjoy his stories and his music.bluestown
